So with a new month comes a new plan. If you follow me on YouTube and saw me participate in the FitVeda (Video every day in August) challenge, then you may have caught the video where I mentioned goal planning after a Twitter chat with @Fitfluential and @ViewSport.
To keep myself accountable and hopefully to inspire others to do the same, here are my goals, both short term {for the month of September} and long term, in black and white! If you write it down, it is tangible. If you plan, it will happen. If you make it known, it is real.
Short Term {September} Goals:
- Run a total of 40 miles.
- Register for and complete the Red Cross CPR Certification Course {a pre-requisite for CPT}
- Learn more about Crossfit
- Do pull ups
- Meal plan dinners all month long!
- Put my foam roller to better use
- Design a new banner for the blog

Long Term Goals:
{To be completed by August 30, 2014}
- Participate in a mud run.
- Run a half-maraton
- Get CPT Certification
- Grow my interaction with the Fitfluential community
- Totally revamp the blog
- Improve my running by incorporating proper training methods

I also wrote out a new fitness routine for September. As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I noticed that my running has begun to fall by the wayside. I need to refocus on it. So I’m cutting back the strength training to twice a week and plan on running about 3-4 times a week. I’m already off to a great start for September!

Have you set your fitness goals yet??
