
This week has been kinda off on my workouts. I didn’t do any weight training nor did I do my long run on Saturday, but I did increase my running days for the week. I hope to sit down and write out another schedule for my workout routine and be able to stick with it for a few weeks before switching up again.
Sunday:
5 mile run on the treadmill since I didn’t run on Saturday.

Monday:
I overslept cause I forgot to set the alarms!
Tuesday:
5k run in honor of those lost on 9/11

Wednesday:
Rest
Thursday:
Hills intervals on the treadmill

Friday:
I woke up with a twinge in my back. Almost like I was about to pull a muscle…and it hurt. And it was irritating me…all.day.long.
Saturday:
My back was much better Saturday morning, but wouldn’t you know it, I had cramps. Bleh. So I jumped on the treadmill and walked it out for a mile. Then I restarted the treadmill and did a 5k with some sprint intervals. Start with an easy job for about a mile, then did some rounds of 30 seconds jog/20 seconds race pace/10 seconds sprint, then rest/jog for about a minute or two. By the end of the 5k speed intervals, my hamstring felt tight so I cooled down by foam rolling.
