Who here remembers the Chicken Littles from Kentucky Fried Chicken?? {raises hand} Don’t worry…PJ didn’t remember them either. But then again, he was too young to remember them. :p
I received an email the other day saying that KFC brought the Chicken Littles back! After 20 years! {Yes, I said 20 years. I’m older than I look!} When I read that, I immediately remembered them. I even started craving them! After work on Tuesday, PJ and I decided to pick some up while out running errands. I can even taste the original Chicken Littles every time I think about them! Naturally I had high expectations. They were, after all, a favorite during my childhood.
Sadly, they were not as I expected. If you remember the chicken littles, then you remember that chicken patty slapped on a dinner roll type of bread slathered in mayonnaise. {wiping drool from my chin} Can I have a moment of silence, please? I’m having childhood flashbacks right now…
So it’s safe to say that I’m totally biased before I even opened the wrappers. Wow…totally disappointed!
So not like the original Chicken Littles! KFC just lost a few cool points in my book. These new “Chicken Littles” are only a mini snacker! Wha?? The bun isn’t even the same size! It’s totally a chicken strip slapped on an oval shaped bun with a little mayo and pickles. PICKLES?!?! I ordered mine without the pickles, of course. A Chicken Little isn’t a Chicken Little with pickles!
In case you couldn’t tell, PJ likes them. Then again, he is completely UNBIASED in his opinion because he’s too young to remember the originals. {Love him though!}
Be aware friends! There is an imposter from KFC going around saying they are Chicken Littles!

Yes I do remember….and they AWESOME and also CHEAP! Was it 29 or 39 cents? Damn i've been sending KFC to bring it back, then like yourself i was so excited when i saw the sign, but when i pulled up to the Drive Thru and saw the picture i didn't even bother buying one, coz i know my chicken littles…. disappointed chicken little fan….
