
Sunday:
Rest plus a plank for the Plank A Day Revolution!

Monday:
One mile warm up run then Bis, Tris, & Shoulders ending with my daily plank

Tuesday:
I opted for cardio and did a 50 minute treadmill interval run plus a 2 minute plank!

Wednesday:
Rest plus my daily plank

Thursday:
Quarter mile runs with one minute leg exercises in between and my daily plank! It was a variation from a previous quarter mile workout routine. I will post on the Get Motivated Mondays series soon, so stay tuned!

Friday:
A mile warm-up run on the treadmill then Chest & Back
I incorporated a new move due to the trash talk/friendly competition with a friend of mine, Dave. He sent me a tweet earlier this week showing me a new move that he was going to try: plank to pushup. I’ve seen them before but never did them up until now. Of course I looked the video link he sent me and thought, “well that can’t be too hard!” My core has strengthened since I’ve joined in the Plank A Day challenge, so I figured I was up for challenging Dave. Me and my big mouth. He tweeted back later that he completed 6 using 20 second planks. Easy peasy, right? Yeah right…
I completed 7 with trying to use a time to time for 20 second planks. I should’ve used my Gymboss. I was off on the timing for 20 seconds. A couple went well past 20 seconds and the last 2 planks were 15 seconds. I’m figuring it all evened out and I probably ended doing 130 seconds total. Well, it’s on like donkey kong! We’ll see who can keep going. Nothing like a little friendly competition to keep you motivated! I did take a video of it but will have to post it later.

Saturday:
Beach time! Spent an hour swimming in the ocean fighting the current! And of course, my daily plank!
