…On the motorcycle, that is. Ha! Did you really think I would log a 136 mile RUN?? It got your attention though, didn’t it? {laughing}

Forgot to reset the counter before I left the house!
Last Tuesday I posted about the benefits of fitness for cancer patients and Beth, a dear friend of mine, was one of the guests on that article. Beth also rides a motorcycle. For the past two years, she had worked together with Thunder Tower Harley Davidson on coordinating an annual Cancer Awareness/Benefit Ride. Last year it was held in October and it was a chilly ride along the interstate.

This year it was held two weekends ago and again I participated. It was sunny and warm and the route this year was 100 times better. And longer, I might add. The total route was 90 miles with a pit stop halfway through.

Only half of the bikes that participated!
I wish I could say I had some awesome videos or pictures to share, but unfortunately I don’t. The adjustable tripod for my Kodak Playfull was out of stock and Kodak took it upon themselves to cancel my order instead of reaching out and offering another color scheme. But I’m hoping that I’ll have that fixed by the next ride I go on. Anywho, so since I didn’t have the tripod, I needed to resort to using the iPhone. Honestly, I was too busy enjoying myself to remember to take pictures. But I will leave you with the last of the only two I personally took.

Beth and I at the pit stop!
