You heard me! And no, I wasn’t talking about the 90′s R&B group…while I adore mi amor, I’m definitely NOT talking about sexing anyone up. Let’s keep it rated G, shall we? Color Me Rad is rated G, after all. So what the heck am I talking about? I’m totally talking about this fabulous colorful 5k run that is coming to Columbia, SC!!
So after my heart break of not being able to register for The Color Run in Charlotte, NC because they sold out within a week, it was mended quickly when my beautiful friend, Brandi, told me about the Color Me Rad 5K! The next best thing! I didn’t wait long…I’m registered as of last night and am stoked about all this fun to be had!
So I have a couple of months to invest in a white running shirt and shorts. I’m hoping that I can talk PJ into getting up early and coming down to support and take some pictures! (I really need to teach him how to take FOCUSED pictures!)
Speaking of new running gear…I found some cool Ironman sport sunglasses in Walmart last week while PJ was buying the rope attachment for the weight machine. $15 didn’t sound like a bad price and I was able to find a pair that hugged my head. See, I have a problem with finding sunglasses that fit me since the arms almost always go out waaaaaay past my ears, so they poke out past my head. Unless I find the right pair. This pair didn’t seem to poke out too bad and it fit kinda snug, though I wish it was a bit more snug than it is. Well, you know I had to test them out on my run Saturday. Sadly the sun was hiding behind the clouds this morning, but that didn’t stop me from wearing them anyways!
Run with sunglasses = success! I didn’t have a problem with them falling down or bouncing around or anything! {LOVE!} I never thought I’d be one of those runners wearing sunglasses because I never thought I would find the perfect pair. I’m glad I did! Looks like there’s a good chance they will make an appearance for the Color Me Rad run.

I have been hearing nothing but good things about this one! I, too, wanted to do the color run, but it was sold out in mere seconds up here! I think there was a color me rad up here in boston not too long ago. If I was able to get up there, I probably would've done it! Have fun!

I'm über excited! Last night we had 27 already registered for our team!! If only I ha a photographer following me around. It get hard to get creative after a while of taking a bunch of pictures of yourself. I'm definitely gonna make sure we get some though!
